- The Melt Shop: Tour attendees experienced the foundational core of production and viewed the high-powered Electric Arc Furnaces (EAFs) designed for efficient scrap melting, the Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) refining vessel used for precise alloy purification, and the continuous Caster that solidifies advanced alloys into high-quality slabs.
- The Hot Rolling Processing Facility (HRPF): Members were able to step inside ATI's groundbreaking, state-of-the-art $1.2 billion HRPF. As one of the most powerful rolling mills in the world, this facility utilizes unparalleled automation, force, and precision to transform massive slabs into thin, high-strength coils of titanium, nickel, and stainless steel alloys.
