The Pittsburgh Section is part of the national American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) founded in 1939. The AIHA is an international organization made up of more than 10,000 members from every industry worldwide who are dedicated to health and safety in the workplace, community, and environment.
The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager provides leadership and advanced technical expertise for multiple Institute safety program elements. The incumbent provides technical guidance and process control measures to ensure high level performance within the assigned portfolio. Specific responsibilities include development of original SOPS and training elements, development of program goals, use of detailed process control tools, provides direct support of OES activities as needed and contributes to the development of department and Institute policies. . . .
