There has been little discussion about the ethical dilemmas that SHE professionals face and how to resolve them. Please plan to join us as we welcome Dr. Lon Ferguson, CSP, CFPS and Dr. Jan K. Wachter, CIH, CSP who will discuss ethical theories, decision frameworks and codes of ethics that can aid in ethical decision-making. Over the past 30 years, the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF) has awarded more than 680 scholarships totally nearly million to students dedicated to studying industrial hygiene and/or occupational and environmental health safety. Building upon this success, the AIHF Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that scholarship applications for 2019 are now being accepted. Since 2014, the Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarship has been made possible through generous donations from the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s Pittsburgh Local Section. Preference is given to students studying from Slippery Rock, Indiana University of Pennsylvania or West Virginia University with a GPA of 3.0 or better. The deadline to submit all AIHF application materials is January 28, 2019. All materials must be completed and answered in full.
