The Pittsburgh Section is part of the national American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) founded in 1939. The AIHA is an international organization made up of more than 10,000 members from every industry worldwide who are dedicated to health and safety in the workplace, community, and environment.
As the SHE professional’s world becomes more complicated, the role of ethics becomes increasingly important. There has been little discussion about the ethical dilemmas that SHE professionals face and how to resolve them. Please plan to join us as we welcome Dr. Lon Ferguson, CSP, CFPS and Dr. Jan K. Wachter, CIH, CSP who will discuss ethical theories, decision frameworks and codes of ethics that can aid in ethical decision-making. These will be applied to real-life SHE cases in this 2 hour class. Register online by Feb. 15.
