Earlier in September we sent out a survey request to gather information on member preferences related to event topics, meeting venues/locations and more. The information gathered from this survey will help the Program Committee plan future events. Congratulations to 2017 Pittsburgh AIHA Local Section Scholarship recipient Dana Marie Piper, a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and Pgh. Local Section student member. Dana was extremely grateful and honored to be the recipient this year. This award will assist Dana as she continues her education at IUP. Dana noted in a thank you letter that she would like to become a Certified Industrial Hygienist and work to advance the profession of IH through the elimination and control of health and safety problems. Her ultimate goal is to protect worker health and safety. Best wishes to Dana as she works towards reaching her goals!!
The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager provides leadership and advanced technical expertise for multiple Institute safety program elements. The incumbent provides technical guidance and process control measures to ensure high level performance within the assigned portfolio.
