The Pittsburgh Section is part of the national American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) founded in 1939. The AIHA is an international organization made up of more than 10,000 members from every industry worldwide who are dedicated to health and safety in the workplace, community, and environment.
Thank you to the 35 members / non-members who attended the Particulates Seminar on Sept. 22 - your support and participation allows the Pittsburgh AIHA to continue to offer these events! Special thanks to our speakers - Dr. Dietrich Weyel, Occupational Health Consultants, Debbie Dietrich, SKC, Inc., Mark Sullivan & Sandi Linatsas of Environmental Devices Corp., and Keith Rickabaugh, RJ Lee Group. The Council Building at the Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters facility was a perfect venue for this event! Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch in the 3-story atrium. Waterfall Catering's pasta bar, meatballs / grilled chicken, salad, fruit and cookies was a big hit! Overall, a great event - thanks Frank Pokrywka (Pittsburgh AIHA Secretary) for taking the lead on coordinating this event!
